The Biore TEGOTAE Nighttime Intensive Moisture Facial Pack is a targeted moisturizing solution, specifically designed for dry patches around the eyes and mouth. Often referred to as “sleeping eye masks” by the international community, its original name can indeed seem a tad lengthy and potentially perplexing. If you’ve come across this product at a local Japanese drugstore and are contemplating giving it a go, I hope my honest review assists in your decision-making.
FEATURES
- This gel facial pack features an airtight moisture-lock formula, creating a protective barrier to shield the skin from dryness.
- Delivers intensive moisture deep into the skin.
- Reduces the visibility of wrinkles caused by dryness.
- Each box contains 8 sets.
- Made in Japan.
HOW TO USE
1. Wash the face and apply toner. Make sure your face is not damp.
2. Peel off the transparent film, attach it to the skin, and lightly press it so that air does not get in between the skin and the pack.
3. After applying the pack, avoid the area where the pack is attached and apply the next products you normally use.
4. Leave it on for an hour or overnight for best results.
5. Gently peel it off the next morning. Daily use is recommended.
NOTE:
*Do not apply milky lotion, cream, and the like before applying the pack. The pack will come off easily. It happened to me on my first use because I failed to read this part.
*The pack is placed on a thin film that’s glued to its wrap so that it does not move. Do not pull it out, just take it out by peeling it off.
PROS
- It’s completely fragrance-free.
- Remarkably, it doesn’t irritate my eyes. I’ve applied it under my eyes just seven times which is crucial given how dry that area becomes, especially with the dropping temperatures lately.
- Despite my restless sleeping habits, it’s impressive how it remains perfectly positioned under my eyes come morning. To ensure this, it’s vital to follow the application instructions closely.
- Wearing it feels entirely comfortable, with minimal to no skin tension.
- There’s some undeniable magic in this product. By the time I used my 7th pack, the results were evident. See the accompanying images for a clearer picture.
CONS
- It leans on the pricier side for my taste, costing nearly 1,000 yen for a box containing 8 sets (a total of 16 sheets).
- While it does leave temporary marks upon removal, these fade within minutes.
- Be cautious when layering; if applied over a milky or creamy product, even one that’s fully absorbed, it tends to peel off easily.
Given the remarkable results after just 7 days, I was compelled to purchase my second box today. I plan to use it bi-weekly this time around. It’s an ideal indulgence for special moments.
If you decide to give Biore TEGOTAE Nighttime Intensive Moisture Facial Pack a whirl, I’d love to hear about your experience.

Do you use Amazon? If so, try it there. Be sure to double check the seller’s name. Should be Biore’s official account.

When you do try, put it in the fridge about 30 minutes before application. Your puffy eyes (if you have) will thank you later.
